Things such as stolen data, leaked login credentials and entire servers dedicated to illegal activity have been reported on the platform. At least two case of child grooming were also linked to Discord. A spokesperson has stated that the platform takes immediate action against any violations and works closely with law enforcement to ensure safety.

This doesn’t look good for that place. Best to be cautious.

Chatrooms have had similar problems as far back as MySpace, so I doubt there will be any problems.

Literally every chat-based website or app has had the same problem (except for a few). Discord will be fine
