On May 2nd, 2022, YouTube^[1] channel @onlineTVisrael shared a video titled "A professor getting hit by a chair to the head," the teacher being Israeli novelist Amir Hetsroni, known for making wildly racist and otherwise offensive comments. The video (shown below) garnered over 149,000 views and 1,300 likes in a year.

According to The Times of Israel^[2] Hetsroni later received medical treatment and the police detained a 16-year-old boy for questioning about the incident.

About a year after the incident, X^[3] user @barnettjake shared the video on August 20th, 2023, amassing over 42 million views and 20,000 likes in three months. On August 15th, 2023, X^[4] reshared the video with the caption "Man I sure hope I don't get hit by the chair that makes you gay," mocking Hetsroni 's reaction after being hit with the chair and touching the other man's breast. The tweet (shown below) received more than 129,000 likes and 16,000 retweets.
