Origin
Banana Doppio is a meme based on Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 5 Anime: Golden Wind. The story starts on 20th of August, 2019, when the Instagram meme account Doppio.png uploads the original image with the yellow and purple version. The account was deleted a few months later but the image had already surfaced the internet.

On November 27, 2019 the Reddit User "Hasagine " uploads a meme about the origin story of the character. The other Reddit users started making posts of facts on him. The facts always end with Banana Doppio out.
About Doppio
Doppio was born in Summer 1967, making his first appearance in the Vento Aureo Manga, Chapter 541 and he first appeared in Episode 26 of the JoJo’s bizarre adventure: Golden Wind anime. He is the character that also does the Turururururururu sound effect.
