BUAAAAAA is a viral video of a man pretending to jump off the side of a building and yelling. While the video claims the man committed suicide, the man and/or the filmer can be heard laughing. The video inspired a series of remixes that apply different audio and visual effects to the video, particularly video game "Game Over" screens.

Origin

On July 24th, 2009, YouTuber Gunjan Trivedi shared a video entitled "bUAAAAAA committing suicide." The post received more than 11,000 views in less than 11 years (shown below).

Spread

The following year, people began posting remixes of the video, adding different video and sound effects to the video. On January 31st, 2010, YouTuber Nazmatikk posted a remix of the video that received more than 4,000 views in less than 11 years (shown below, left). The following day, YouTuber Big Purp published "BUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Story," which includes a crashing sound effect after the jump. After the crash, a chyron appears on screen and reads "You have died." The post received more than 39,000 views in less than 11 years (shown below, right).
