About

Chris Chan And Bob Fight refers to a video titled "ECV 00193" recorded by Chris-Chan on August 27, 2009. The video stars Chris Chan trying to persuade viewers to cease the leaks in their house until their dad, Bob, enters the room to scold them, eventually turning into an argument.

The video grew in popularity on YouTube in 2023 as an exploitive meme, inspiring the surge of "Chris Chan and Bob fight, but it's X" videos by replacing the lines and audio of the original video with the relevant themes of the title.

Origin

On August 27, 2009, Chris Chan uploaded a cut video titled "THAT IS MY HOUSE" until removed on August 29, 2009. On August 29, 2009, an uncut video was uploaded by Vivian featuring the expanded footage of the video including an uncut segment of Bob scolding him.[1]

Spread

On November 19, 2023, a YouTube user, DockingTwo, uploaded a video "Chris Chan and Bob fight but its Pirate voices"[1], using footage of aforementioned video but altered the lines and audio to correspond to the stereotypical pirate theme. The video received 152,000+ views and 18,000 likes as of January 2024.
After the video's premier, it inspired multiple videos in January 2024 with different themes.
