Professional Tag refers to a competitive version of the children's game tag. Adopted into a competitive format by World Chase Tag league in 2012 and combining tag with elements of parkour, viewership of the sport and its online presence rose in the 2020s as videos of competitions went viral on YouTube and TikTok.
