Entrance videos (often called a "TitanTron") for professional wrestlers usually consist of various clips of said wrestler in action, always victorious, and posing excitedly, along with elaborately animated images of their name.
For some reason, the son of the legendary "Nature Boy" Ric Flair, David Flair, got an entrance video that consisted of three things: a hastily-made animation of his name, looped several times; a clip of David Flair twisting at the hips and tilting his head to the left; and a clip of his father, Ric Flair, staring with a look of what appears to be disapproval.
On April 2008, Youtube user thelesserevil00 posted an edited version of the titantron that includes the original video (the first 8 seconds) and various footage of both David and Ric Flair.
The video eventually made it to numerous wrestling forums the following months, and inspired fans to create their own versions of "David Flair Style" (DFS) entrance videos, following the same formula: David Flair's theme, cheap animation of the wrestler's name, controversial or humiliating footage and people staring disapprovingly.
Some people later improved the fad by making non-wrestling related David Flair Style video.
