About
El Tunas refers to Among Us nickname player when another player giving their nickname based on Teletubbies show. It was used as exploitable by adding reference in it.
Origin
On September 8th, 2020, Facebook[1] user Charles Blossom uploaded two images when he's playing Among Us. In the chat session, while other player using Teletubbies nicknames, one of them use "El Tunas" as their nickname, which in English means Thanos. The post was received more than 6,300 reactions and 46,000 shares (shown below).
Spread
After Blossom's post became popular, many Facebook users create memes by parodying it. For example on September 9th, 2020, Facebook[2] post Faryzal Andhika reposted meme parodying of "El Tunas". The post received 120 reactions and more than 500 shares (shown below).
On September 11th, 2020, Facebook[3] user Fachrul Razi uploaded image of Teletubbies and edited it by add El Tunas reference in it. The post received 160 reactions and more than 550 shares (shown below).
