The Russian Blowjob Bombing, also known as the Russian Brojob Bombing, refers to a piece of controversial, unconfirmed war footage showing what is purportedly one Russian soldier performing oral sex on another Russian soldier amid the 2022 war in Ukraine, only to be killed by a bomb dropped by a Ukrainian military drone, supposedly in the Kherson Oblast. The viral video surfaced on 4chan, Telegram and Twitter in October 2022 where it was discussed en masse, centering on the concept of "Battlefield Blowjobs" or "Mid-Combat Blowjobs" and their "Roman roots." Memes were thereby created as well as redraws similar to Loss. The video was disputed and argued on /pol/ and /chug/, among other sites and communities such as Reddit.

Origin

On October 3rd, 2022, a video from a Ukrainian drone surfaced online, originating from a currently unknown Telegram group where Ukrainian soldiers share their kill footage. At around 11:55 a.m. EST, the video surfaced on 4chan's /pol/[1] imageboard, purportedly from an anon located in Austria who captioned it, "The Last Blowjob: Damn russian bro really got blown" (shown below). The thread rapidly received a mass amount of replies. Also, roughly 10 minutes sooner on October 3rd, Twitter[2] user uasevostianov shared the video, gaining 557,000 views and 2,500 likes in three days.

Minutes later on October 3rd, 2022, another 4channer posted the video to /pol/,[3] writing, "Russian soldier blowjob interrupted by drone grenade: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHHHAAHAH…" also receiving a large number of replies. As both 4chan threads earned engagement, multiple anons posted reactions and memes as they grew, as well as creating new threads that published "Daily battlefield assessments" that mentioned, "A drone killed 2 Russian soldiers that were doing blowjob." One of these threads posted to /pol/[5] on October 3rd started with a variation of The Myth of 'Consensual' Sex meme template, inserting a screenshot of the bomb dropping (shown below).

On October 4th, 2022, a 4channer shared a Telegram screenshot to /pol/[6] showing a Russian user who denounced the video (shown below).
