About
For My Male Audience refers to multiple TikToks catered towards a male audience in that they show mildly interesting and oddly satisfying content that only a man would enjoy. Examples include actions such as operating tools and breaking glass or ice. Videos using the catchphrase as an on-screen caption started in late 2021, carrying into early 2022.
Origin
On September 29th, 2021, TikToker[9] nobankam1 posted a video that had text overlay reading, "For my male audience." In the video, he is sitting on top of a rocky ledge and kicks some of the rubble over the edge. The video (shown below) received roughly 12.1 million plays and 2.3 million likes over the course of four months.

On December 4th, 2021, TikToker[1] sweaty.loser posted a video that had text overlay reading, "For my male audience." He then preceded in the video to pick up a large piece of flat ice and drop it on the ground, watching it shatter. The video (shown below) received roughly 17.6 million plays and 2.5 million likes over the course of two months.

After the virality of his first TikTok, sweaty.loser posted another Male Audience video on December 5th,[2] receiving roughly 17,200 plays in two months. He posted three more on December 6th, with one of the TikToks[3] receiving over 985,000 plays in two months (shown below, left). In the video, he throws a brick into a creek. Also on the 6th, TikToker[4] nickdenhalter added to the trend, posting a video in which he throws an icicle against a wall, gaining over 286,00 plays and 73,00 likes in the same amount of time (shown below, right).

On December 8th, 2021, TikToker[5] rafe_wester posted a video in which he throws a large rock onto a lake covered in ice, earning roughly 10 million plays and 1.7 million likes over the course of two months (shown below, left). Also on December 8th, TikToker[6] leooeloo posted a Male Audience TikTok, recording himself not stepping on a single sidewalk crack. The video (shown below, right) earned roughly 8.1 million plays and 1.2 million likes, also over two months.

More TikToks geared towards a male audience were posted going into January 2022, with many of them using the voiceover sounds from the above TikToks. For instance, on January 14th, verified TikToker[7] chamberlin_kevin posted a video of himself throwing a pepperoni pizza on the ground, receiving over 9.4 million plays and 1.3 million likes in 10 days (shown below).

For My Male Audience memes started being posted to Twitter in January 2022, like one posted by Twitter[8] user papa_spiegel on January 17th, that captioned an image of a Dr. Bronners soap bottle with, "i got something for my male audience today," receiving 26 likes in 10 days (shown below).
