About
Green Kek Warrior refers to a masked man dressed in green and black holding a green shield with the Kekistan logo painted on the front. Photographs of the man at the far right-wing Patriot Prayer rally were the subject of mockery online, as people juxtaposed the image with comments the joked about the Nazi belief that the Aryan race was the "master race."
Origin
On August 4th, 2018, the right-wing group Patriot Prayer held a rally in Portland, Oregon. In addition to many right wing, white supremacist and neo-Nazi supporters joining the march, the rally was counterprotested by numerous anti-facist groups.[1]
That morning, pictures of a bearded man in a green bandana, dressed in black and holding a green Kekistan sheild began appearing online. They added the caption, "About a dozen people associated with Patriot Prayer have arrived at Portland’s Waterfront Park. The guy w the bicycle and the purple hat is sporting a Joey Gibson campaign button.
#DefendPDX #AllOutPDX." The post (shown below) received more than 70 retweets and 200 likes in 24 hours.

Twitter[3] user @classiclib3ral posted an image of the man standing upright next to an article from an Altright.com article on "superior aesthetics." On August 5th, Twitter[5] user Mikel_Jollet tweeted a picture of the man next to a picture of professional basketball player LeBron James with the caption "The man on the left believes he is genetically superior to the man on the right."
Within 24 hours, the tweet received more than 13,000 retweets and 47,000 likes.
The following day, an anonymous 4chan [6] user posted an image of the protester on the "/tv/" message board. They commented on the picture "Who will play him in the eventual film version?" Another anonymous poster responded, "this shit is more embarrassing than chanology."
