Helicopter Mom depicts one of the many problems with our students in higher education today. Typically, a helicopter mom (or dad in some cases) is overly involved with their child's school and social life. Usually, they are very controlling and are quick to forcing advice upon their children, but rarely does it help in their development into becoming an independent adult. Helicopter Mom has yet to reach the popularity or spread as Uber Frosh and seems to only be on the profile of MaverickAg.
