While it's unclear which post was the first to photoshop the Hot Pockets box, variations began appearing on Instagram in November of 2016. One of the earliest, posted on November 7th by savageryfarm,[1] made the box appear to have sand flavored hot pockets, presumably a reference to Pocket Sand.
