The "Human Mail Challenge" is a dare game played by a number of prominent YouTubers wherein the participant must successfully mail himself in a box to a recipient, usually to someone known, a fan, or even a stranger.

Origin

An early instance of this challenge was posted in March 2016, by YouTuber OmarGOSHTV, with the title "Mailing Myself In A Box PRANK – Kid Version".

On September 14 2016, YouTuber Kill'em FTW uploaded a video "I Mailed Myself in a Box and It Actually WORKED! (Human Mail Challenge)".

Spread

In November 2016, several popular YouTubers such as RiceGum[1], Sam[2] and SSSniperWolf[3] posted their attempts at the challenge. On November 30, Top Trends posted a video[4] titled "Top 10 I Mailed Myself in a Box Challenge Videos (RiceGum, SSSniperwolf Human Mail Challenges)". The video has over 2 million views as of December 16th, 2016.

Early next month, YouTubers such as FaZe Rug[5] and Gloom Games[6] followed suit.

This seems like a dangerous challenge because what if the person doing this challenge was a harmless little flea and he was put in a box within another box and when that said box arrives to a fan they'll possibly just smash that box with a hammer.
