Introducing Me is a song from the Disney Channel original movie Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam sung by Nick Jonas. The song outlines the character Nate Gray's quirky personality traits and has been used in personal sign-holding TikTok videos.

Origin

On September 3rd, 2010, Camp Rock 2 was released on Disney Channel. A week later, YouTuber wendylp uploaded the clip "Introducing Me" from the movie (shown below). The video has gained over 50.9 million views in nine years.

Spread

In the years following the 2010 release, some amateur animators began uploading fan art videos using the song and its queues. On July 28, 2017, YouTuber CinniDoesWhat uploaded an animated version of the song (shown below).

On May 14th, 2019, TikTok user uploaded a sound clip from "introduce me" and used it in a sign-holding video that reveals some things about him (shown below, left). The video gained over 85,700 likes and 1,600 shares in seven days. The next day, TikTok users began using that sound clip to reveal their own personal details. @Glitterandlazers and @rhia.official uploaded videos that gained over 125,600 likes and 138,000 likes respectively (shown below, right).
