During his speech, he spoke out against drinking cow's milk saying "we feel entitled to artificially inseminate a cow and when she gives birth we steal her baby even though her cries of anguish are unmistakable and then we take her milk that's intended for a calf and we put it in our coffee and in our cereal." But… the cows are not taken from their babies? These cows are bred specifically to produce more milk than the baby needs, and produce it long after the baby needs it. Some pictures have been circulated about those nose tags on the calfs that prevent them from suckling, but that's only implemented when they're older and their teeth could damage and infect the mother! In fact Holstein cows, which are the dairy cows we typically get milk from, NEED to be milked two or even three times a day! They were literally bred to do that!
Stop spreading misinformation. An actor is not an expert on dairy production. Do the research yourself.
