"Moya Golova Vintom" or My Head Is Spinning Like a Screw is a song by Russian producer Kostromin that went viral on TikTok in February 2021. As a part of the trend connected to the song, users created videos in which two or more people performed a dance by holding their hands and swinging them while crossing their arms with the camera facing upwards.

Origin

On January 18th, 2021, Russian producer and TikTok user Kostromin teased their upcoming track "Moya Golova Vintom" ("Моя голова винтом," Rus. "My Head Is Spinning Like a Screw"), releasing the chorus of the song on TikTok.[1] The video received over 841,000 views and 97,200 likes in two months (shown below, left). In the following days, Kostromin made posts[2][3] in which he urged other TikTok users to create videos using the song (example video shown below, right).

On February 2nd, Kosromin released the full version of the song, and on YouTube,[4] the music video for "Moya Golova Vintom" received over 8.2 million views in one month (shown below).

On February 9th, 2021, TikTok[5] user livipivibobivi posted a video set to the song in which they and their friend, labeled "Girl with anger issues" and "Girl with the sweetest soul," performed a dance by holding hands, jumping in a circle and swinging while crossing their arms (shown below). The video received over 11 million views and 2.2 million likes in one month.

In the following days, the video inspired a TikTok trend, participants of which labeled themselves in a humorous fashion and performed the dance. For example, on February 9th, 2021, TikTok[6] user bella.porterr posted a video that received over 16.5 million views and 3.3 million likes (shown below, left). On the same day, the TikTok[7] account the.mcfarlands posted a video that received over 15.4 million views and 2.7 million likes (shown below, center).
