Learn the Alphabet with X
Learn the Alphabet with X is a video remix format. In the format, the narrator of a children's alphabet video plays over clips of the celebrity subject of the video reciting words that begin with the letter.
Origin
On August 6th, 2013, YouTuber APPUSERIES published the video "Let's Learn the Alphabet – Preschool Learning." The video features the narration remixed in future videos and received more than 11 million views in less than eight years (shown below).
On May 30th, YouTuber Bitch posted the video "Learn the Alphabet with Cardi B," based on an earlier deleted video. The post received more than 4.9 million views in less than three years (shown below).
Spread
Over the next month, others began posting variations of the format. For example, on June 2nd, YouTuber ArianaCentral posted "Learn The Alphabet with Ariana Grande." The post received more than 3.2 million views in less than three years (shown below, left).
Days later on June 12th, 2018, YouTuber me pica el pie posted "Learn The Alphabet with Billie Eilish." The video received more than 8.6 million views in less than three years (shown below, right).
