Overview

Low Tier God Grooming Allegations refers to accusations levied against YouTuber and streamer Dalauan "Dale" Sparrow, known as Low Tier God (LTG), which accused him of grooming his ex-girlfriend Alaina. In 2023 and 2024, various YouTubers investigated Low Tier God's age, with some concluding that he was 39 years old in late 2023. In turn, many alleged that Low Tier God had met Alaina when she was 17 and he was 29. The brunt of the allegations was levied by YouTuber Shang Tsung whose February 2024 video called "Low Tier Groomer" (in which he called Alaina "Alissa" for privacy reasons) gained virality on Twitter / X. The accusations also included 22-year-old streamer Kani Rosi who was seemingly in a relationship with LTG in early 2024. He purportedly lied to her about his age as well.

Background

On June 5th, 2021, YouTuber^[1] Trevor Belmont posted a video that was a recording of a then-recent Instagram Live held by Low Tier God's ex-girlfriend Alaina. She seemingly revealed Low Tier God's age when she said that Sparrow and her current boyfriend were born months apart. YouTuber^[1] Trevor Belmont surfaced her boyfriend Bossman KT's Instagram where he once wrote his birthday as March 9th, 1984. In turn, that supposedly made Low Tier God 39 going into early 2024. His video received roughly 43,600 views in three years (shown below).

On February 11th, 2022, YouTuber^[2] Simp Felon posted a video called "Proof That Lowtiergod Dated a 17 Year Old When He Was 29" in which they resurfaced a 2018 clip (from Reddit^[3]) in which Low Tier God was arguing on the phone with a crying Alaina because he was going to miss their anniversary by going to Evo. YouTuber^[2] Simp Felon slowed down the video and raised the volume to highlight Alaina saying "our fourth year anniversary," implying that the two started dating in 2014. Over two years, the video gained roughly 46,900 views (shown below).

On November 19th, 2023, YouTuber^[4] Shang Tsung posted a video called "PROOF Low Tier God is 39" in which he purported that Low Tier God's government name was Dale Wilson, using a quote from LTG himself, as well as the name written on the trademark status of "Low Tier God." YouTuber^[4] Shang Tsung also showed a birth certificate that was allegedly LTG's under the name Dale Wilson, showing the birthday November 19th, 1986. The video gained over 24,500 views in three months (shown below, left).

On December 31st, 2023, YouTuber^[5] HighTierDon posted a video called "LowTierGod Lies to Kani Rosi About His Age," which was a clip of a then-recent stream from Twitch^[6] streamer Kani Rosi (kanirosi) in which she discussed Low Tier God's age, denying that he was 39. The YouTuber used Shang Tsung's birth certificate edit, gaining over 23,000 views in two months (shown below, right).

Shang Tsung's "Low Tier Groomer" Video

On February 10th, 2024, YouTuber^[7] Shang Tsung posted a video called "Low Tier Groomer – the TRUTH behind LTG's lies EXPOSED" that compiled purported evidence that alleged Low Tier God had groomed Alaina when she was 17 and he was 29. Shang Tsung cited the videos from the aforementioned YouTubers.^[1][2][5] Shang Tsung also highlighted a mukbang video with LTG and Alaina allegedly posted in 2020 (since-deleted) in which there were two "phantom" edits that seemingly cut out information regarding their ages and when they met.^[8][9] Over three days, the video received roughly 60,000 views (shown below).

Online Reaction

On February 12th, 2024, X^[10] user @delchtf tweeted a screenshot of Shang Tsung's "Low Tier Groomer" video, writing, "1 hour? Is he finally cooked?" gaining over 4 million views and 2,000 likes in one day (shown below, left).

Later on February 12th, X^[11] user @gamingguru456 posted a similar tweet (since-deleted) that captioned the screenshot, "No shot," gaining over 853,800 views in less than a day (shown below, right).

Both tweets inspired a slew of viral quotes and memes in the following days. For instance, on February 12th, 2024, X^[12] user @brndxix quoted with, "AN HOUR AND 10 MINUTES OF EVIDENCE ?" receiving over 28,000 likes in a day (shown below, left).

Also on February 12th, X^[13] user @NewSushiBar also posted a viral quote, gaining over 14,000 likes in less than a day (shown below, right).

Posts about Low Tier God's allegations and Shang Tsung's video also surfaced on Reddit^[14] in February 2024.
