NiggaButt Token is a satirical meme coin and cryptocurrency inspired by Thugposting featuring gay black men. The coin was introduced to the market in March of 2024 on the Solana blockchain and saw a spike in interest in November 2024, as well as sparking debate and jokes often featuring images and memes with American singer Sean "Diddy" Combs.

History

The NiggaButt Token launched on March 21st, 2024, on the Solana blockchain, according to the Coin Ranking^[1] website. The cryptocurrency has a website, niggabutt.com,^[2] with information on the meme coin.

On November 12th, 2024, Redditor^[3] u/Unlucky_Secretary179 claimed to be the developer of the NiggaButt Token on the Solana Blockchain. The post (seen below) amassed more than 2,900 upvotes and 134 comments in a month.

As of early December 2024, the NiggaButt official X account^[5] has accumulated roughly 3,900 followers, sharing content related to the cryptocurrency, most often using GIFs, images and videos of American rapper and producer Sean "Diddy" Combs. For instance, on November 22nd, 2024, NBTSOL^[6] uploaded a meme featuring Michelle and Barak Obama in bed as if they were both thinking about Diddy (seen below), which received roughly 7,400 views and 40 likes in a week.
