Lando Norris is a British and Belgian racing driver currently competing in Formula One with McLaren. The racer is known for his viral video and TikTok sound Little Lando Norris Sleeping and has also been a meme subject of memes since he started to race in the 2017 European Formula 3 Championship. Memes and jokes about Norris became a viral topic on Twitter (X) and Reddit after he won his first F1 Grand Prix in April 2024.

TV cameras spotted Norris sitting down in a gravel trap lamenting, which was later used in photoshopped edits, as Lando^[3] himself shared some examples on September 24th, 2017, amassing over 1,400 likes and 391 reposts in seven years.

The F1 pilot has also been featured in meme compilation videos on YouTube, as YouTuber^[4] @ClutchF1 posted a video on September 23rd, 2023, titled "Lando Norris Meme Compilation," amassing over 21,000 views and 594 likes in a year. On May 5th, 2024, the McLaren driver had his first F1 win at the Miami Grand Prix. Norris's victory became a trending topic on the internet, sparking memes and jokes celebrating his achievement. For instance, on May 5th, X[^[6] user @4melixe posted a fan edit video of Norris paired with the "Hoes Mad" song, which amassed more than 176,000 views and 11,000 likes in a day.
