Petrol Soup is a name for an event in the "Til Death do us Part" story in the video game "Project Zomboid". It is triggered in the tutorial by cooking soup and going upstairs to check on your wife. She will ask if you remembered to turn off the oven before coming up, and when you go back down, the kitchen will be on fire. The fire alarm in the house will start ringing, which attracts zombies to the house immediately. Many people who played the game for the first time accidently trigger this and die pretty quickly.

It can also be triggered outside the main story, "Til Death do us Part". It is activated by just leaving soup in a oven and turning it on. However it has a random percent chance of happening outside the main story line.
