What are plz account I'm guessing most of you know what a plz account is, but for the few that have yet to learn about there, here's a brief description: A plz account is a regular deviantART account which is made purely for the use of the avatar. By placing an emote or image as the avatar (icon) you can use it around the site wherever a normal icon can be produced. They are called Plz Accounts due to the mass majority of them ending in the 3 letters、PLZ, to not only ensure a usable dA name is not taken, but to also identify their purpose Finding plz account There isn't and never will be an 'official plz account list supplied on dA, however there are a number of clubs that are created purely as directories of plz accounts. A few of the ones i have discovered are collect-icons weveryplz Some deviants also have personal lists, such as mine can be found here ow to use Plz Account Once you have found a plz account you wish to use, you simply place the name of it in the form :iconPlzAccountName:. For example, typing :iconwavesplz: will produce , instead of Its always worth previewing a comment whenever you use a plz account as simple mistakes such as typing :iconsqueeplz: will give you There are also a deviations around including Plz me bywhich are designed to make using and remembering plz accounts far easier Making Plz Accountsclu> If you wish to make a plz account using art which you have not created yourself, the first rule is to make sure you have permission from the original artist. You can have up to 3 dA accounts created on one email address at any one time. Your first account on an email address will activate automatically however your 2nd and 3rd will cause an error message shown. This is something along the lines of 'do you wish to make a new account or recover access to your 1st (or 2nd) accounts?' By the side of this message is a simple tickbox. If you click this, retype in the password and click continue you can carry on activating the account. Once you have 3 dA accounts on one email, it is possible to place even more dA accounts on this email address. For this you need a second email address to create the accounts, and once created you go into the settings and change your email address to the first one. This decreases the number of email addresses needed. There may be a limit to the number of accounts you can have on one email address, but i have yet to find a limit. If you do not have a second email account simply make a new free account such as gmail or hotmail for the purpose When creating the account if you find the plz account name is already taken, stop! Go and check if the account is a plz account for the same emote/image and if so just use the first account. Therefore i always suggest you fave the original emote or image.
