JONATHAN 日本ではよく知られていても、少なくとも北米では農民の話、 彼らに何があっ たのか、忍はどこから生まれたのかなどはあまり知られていません。 そこで伊賀出身で、 ミステリーに包まれた人物を登場させることにしました。 この地域の歴 史的人物を検討しましたが、 ミステリアスに感じられるほうがいいので、実在したかどうかが 定かではない人物として奈緒江を考えました。 弥助については、当初からポルトガル人渡来にまつわるストーリーを描くことが、 日本の危 機を語る際に非常にすぐれた方法だと考えていました。 チームはこの弥助というキャラクター を気に入ってくれましたし、 彼を使って日本を発見することが期待できると考えました。 すでに日本の社会にいる侍からスタートすれば、 私たちが必ずしも知っているわけではない 概念も持ち合わせており、 非常におもしろく好奇心をそそるキャラクターになると思いまし た。そして彼に何が起きたのか、興味も湧きます。 すでに歴史に根付いたキャラクターとして スタートし、彼に何かが起きるのかがわかっていくので好奇心をくすぐられるわけです。 このふたりがいっしょになるとストーリーテリング、体格や家柄といった点においてもお互 いを補う形になり、 クールなチームになると思いました。 https://web.archive.org/web/20240515185159/https://www.famitsu.com/article/202405/5194 (Edited Version: May 16, 2024, 19:47:46) ASSASSIN'S CREED SHADOW (左) JONATHAN DUMONT氏 (クリエイティブ・ディレクター) (右) CHARLES BENOIT氏 (ゲーム・ ディレクター)
