It's a pity that classes like monk and fighter are so much less capable than they used to be. I'm glad people are enjoying them, but my favourite archetype is skilled, tactical swordsman and I wish 5e supported that. Maybe a new class? I think 5e could really benefit from having real maneuvers. I'M SICK OF THIS MARTIAL VS CASTER DEBATE, WHY DO YOU HATE MARTIALS SO MUCH? HAVING CHOICES WOULD MAKE THEM JUST BE CASTERS IF YOU WANT TO BE A SPELLCASTER JUST BE A SPELLCASTER, IT WILL RUIN MY FUN IF YOU CAN PLAY A MARTIAL WHO CAN DO MORE THAN JUST TAKE THE ATTACK ACTION OVER AND OVER. THIS ISN'T AN ISSUE AT MY TABLE IT'S BECAUSE YOU DON'T FLAVOUR YOUR ATTACKS, PRETENDING YOU HAVE OPTIONS IS THE SAME AS ACTUALLY HAVING THEM. IF YOU WANT 4E OR PATHFINDER JUST GO PLAY THEM IT'S NOT D&D IF MARTIALS CAN AOE OR TANK OR CHOOSE. BLAME YOUR DM THE DM SHOULD DESIGN FIGHTS SPECIFICALLY TO MAKE UP FOR ISSUES IN GAME DESIGN
