Overview
Nubby's Number Factory is an independent roguelike plinko game developed by MogDogBlog Productions in which players are put in the role of a number factory worker who must launch a spherical character named Nubby down a board of pegs with numerical values, attempting to hit pegs that add up to a goal number to complete each level. If the player fails to hit the number and uses all of Nubby's lives, the sun explodes. As the player progresses, they can buy items to assist in the run. A demo for the game was released on September 22nd, 2024 and the full game was released on March 7th, 2025. The game garnered significant praise online following its full release for both its addictive gameplay and nostalgic design, which is reminiscent of early 90s and 2000s-era CGI computer games. It became the increasing subject of fan content, memes and Let's Plays in April 2025.
