However, by using exploits, it is possible to cause the two adult penguins to fall off cliffs as well, allowing Mario to dispose of all penguins in this manner. It is commonly known that in Cool, Cool Mountain in Super Mario 64, Mario is able to pick up the two baby penguins found throughout the course and drop them off cliffs. However, it is also possible to cause the two adult penguins found in this course to fall off cliffs as well, using exploits. The Mother Penguin found on the bottom of the mountain follows Mario for a short distance if he delivers the correct baby to her, but then takes it away again. In the Japanese version, due to an oversight in the code, she will continue moving during her dialogue box in this scenario, causing her to move further than her intended movement radius. With precise angling, this can be used to get her to step onto the ski lift nearby.
