Tanned Cirno is a Touhou meme that consists of the character Cirno from the video game Touhou with a tan. It started on April 20th, 2016, with a reveal screenshot of Hidden Star in Four Seasons (Touhou 16) on the blog of Jun'ya Ota, who created Touhou. From there, images spread through both DeviantArt and Danbooru, and various videos spread across YouTube.
