The Mind Electric is a song from the Tally Hall spinoff group "Miracle Musical". The song has been used in several fan animated music videos.

Origin

The song is part of the Miracle Musical album Hawaii: Part II, which was first released on Bandcamp[1] on December 12th, 2012. The album was later reposted to YouTube on May 26th, 2018, where it received over 3.6 million views in over four years. The first half of the song is played backwards, but the last half of the song (shown below) is the same song played normally.

Two different animations were made in Source Filmmaker using Five Nights at Freddy's characters. On April 26th, 2018, BonBon Films posted their SFM music video to YouTube (shown below, left), which received over 1.3 million views in over four years. On September 9th, 2018, LunaticHugo posted their SFM music video to YouTube (shown below, right), which received over 1.3 million views in over four years.



On November 28th, 2019, Mogry 331 posted an animatic of the song to YouTube using FlipaClip. The video (shown below, left) received over 2.5 million views in over three years. On March 10th, 2020, kirbro posted an animatic of the song to YouTube using Hollow Knight characters. The video (shown below, right) received over 1 million views in over two years.
