Things I've Hit With My Car is a trend on TikTok where someone will show their car, or simply show themselves, before showing various items, people, and animals, that they have supposedly struck with their car while driving. One of the important characteristics of the meme is to have the most important or biggest reveal last, and that the majority of those doing the trend are younger drivers.

Origin

One of the first recorded instances of this meme trend was posted by the TikTok user shan_tysoe on December 11th, 2020, while using the audio background of the song Amorphous credited to Megan Thee Stallion feat. Travis Porter[1]. The video[2] received 600 likes in one year (shown below).

On December 16th, 2020, the TikTok user CamilleThompsonnn[3] uploaded a TikTok where she took the format and extended it a little, giving more background info into each of the incidents and expounding upon the more serious ones, earning 170,000 likes in one year (shown below).

Later incarnations of this meme would go on to use the audio[4] Sexy Bitch (Feat Akon) [Extended] by the artist David Guetta. This can be seen in the TikTok posted by lillie.luvv[5] on January 12th, 2021, which received 98,000 likes in ten months (shown below).
