That men can't express emotions. That men must solve all problems by being violent or domineering. Telling men that they are not a man unless they are full of aggression is toxic Telling a man that if he shows weakness he may as well just die, that's toxic. It doesn't do anyone good to have a nt that is these things. To be a good parent as a man you must in some way distance yourself from the toxic ideas that some people carry about manliness. You don't have to give up on all of masculinity, just the toxic parts. If you as a man want to hunt and fish, great. If you like carpentry and monster truck rallies, carry on.
