Beginnings
Triangelus is a misspelling of the word Triangles- three-sided. It has originated on the Memes R Us Discord server from the user çunt#2859, although I'm not cool#1988 claims to be the creator of this misspelling.
Takeoff
The Triangelus meme didn't take until Memes R Us users saw the potential for an inside joke.
It started gaining traction a few days later as almost everyone in the server was using the term "Triangelus."
The server owner GhostAKR#6978 noticed the users and started doing some special things to the server including:
- Making a special role named "triangelus" (which still exists to this very day).
- Temporarily changing the server name to Triangelus R Us
