Two Guys Mud Boxing refers to a viral video of two Thai men wearing boxing gloves and fighting each other while waist-deep in thick black mud. The clip was first posted to a Thai YouTube channel in early April 2024, before it went viral on X / Twitter.

Origin

On April 1st, 2024, YouTube channel แสนเชิงสองหมัด (translation: Two Hundred Thousand Punches) posted a video showing you men wearing boxing gloves and standing waist-deep in thick black mud. The men then began to box each other, getting increasingly dirtier until they were both covered in mud. The video^[1] gathered over 700 likes in 10 days (seen below).

On April 11th, 2024, X^[2] user @FullMetalDojo posted a clip from the aforementioned mud boxing video, gathering over 26,000 views and 90 likes in a day (seen below).

Also on April 11th, X^[3] user @dodehelter reposted the clip with the caption, "Me and you are gonna settle shit like this," gathering 3 million views and 6,000 likes in a day (seen below, left). Later that day, X^[4] user @JHNR081 quoted the post, writing, "This is what the ancient Romans saw when they first made landfall in Britain," and gathering over 2 million views and 77,000 likes in a day (seen below, right).

On April 12th, 2024, TikToker^[5] @jamos5 posted a different clip of two men mud boxing in the same mud pit, gathering over 900,000 plays and 26,000 likes in a day (seen below).
