So I being a edbassmaster fan on youtube watched the winners for the Ugly Face competition https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HcQ4J06ahg&feature=channel_video_title, and the 3rd place winner (well one of the 3rd place winners, there were two) was roboflyguy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xEwjFBER-fs&feature=channel_videotitle, I clicked on the link in the description to watch the video, I thought it was so funny that I enlarged the picture, paused it at a good spot, pressed PrtScn, pasted it on paint and saved it as a jpeg, think that I might be able to do something funny with this in the future, with no intentions of turning it to meme whatsoever, or even putting his was in front of different background and in different situations, etc. Well later that day I was on google and I decided to look up meme's without even thinking about the picture copied and saved. Well as I was looking through these meme's I was think that it would cool to create something that went around the internet by millions of people. At first still not thinking about the picture I saved, just thinking about how cool it would be. A couple of minutes pass by and it hits me. I came to the idea of using that picture I saved and creating something out of it. I opened Photoshop, cut his face out and put it in front of a transparent background and saved it as a gif. I went around google and looked up situations, and found a picture of some building collapsing, saved it on my computer, opened it on photoshop and put his face in front of it. Then I looked up awkward situations, found a picture of this guy doing something weird while kneeling in front of George W. Bush, looks like he was unzipping his pants or something weird like that and so I decided to put his face in front of that as well. I created a few more pictures and I posted them on this website I like going on telling everybody on there this cool idea I came up with. Well I decided to send roboflyguy a message with the link to see what he thought about this. He loved it and thought it was great and told me to continue what I was planning on with this. We kept in contact and talked things over and I had the idea to create a Facebook page for this, he loved the idea and told me to go ahead and do it, so I create this Facebook page, calling it "Ugly Face Meme" http://www.facebook.com/pages/Ugly-Face-Meme/115667455196839. Within less of a week the page has 165 likes and I don't know a person on there, and people were creating their own pictures with the Ugly Face on it, and having over 70 pictures created by fans and not by me, I only have created 13 of them. But the fans, it's the fans that turned Ugly Face into a meme.
