Lazer Dim 700 "Trap So Old Gotta Run Out the House" continued "When I Play My Music So the Roof Don’t Fall on Me" refers to lyrics from the song "Tony Dim" by rapper Lazer Dim 700 which went viral on TikTok in early 2024 across meme videos that progressively sped-up the audio. Originally released on SoundCloud in November 2023, the song became akin to Meme Rap in 2024.

On November 15th, 2023, rapper Lazer Dim 700 released the song "tony dim" on SoundCloud,[1] gaining over 179,000 listens and 6,700 likes in four months (shown below).
On February 15th, 2024, TikToker[2] @trapgodmaybe posted a video that showed a Genius card with the song's lyrics "Trap so old, gotta run out the house when I play my music so the roof don't fall on me from the song." The video progressively sped up the audio from the song. Over 19 days, the video received roughly 639,200 plays and 94,600 likes (shown below).

Going into February 2024, users on TikTok[3] started using the sound created by the aforementioned video. For instance, on February 22nd, 2024, TikToker[4] @stuckonmyway posted a video that showed himself lip-dubbing the song as he progressively sped up, gaining over 263,700 plays and 54,300 likes in 12 days (shown below, left).
On February 23rd, 2024, TikToker[5] @snipethebag posted a video that used the sound, showing someone boxing with text reading, "me on my sons bday after a single drop of hen," receiving over 833,500 plays and 189,500 likes in 11 days (shown below, right).

On February 28th, 2024, TikToker[6] @toolieek posted a Fortnite video that re-enacted the roof of a "trap" falling akin to the lyrics in "Tony Dim," gaining over 835,900 plays and 154,800 likes in six days (shown below, left).
Others posted similar videos about roofs falling such as TikToker[7] @ibesmatt on March 4th, 2024, who showed a streamer's roof caving in, earning over 1 million plays and 247,600 likes in a day (shown below, right).
