Walk a Mile refers to a series of TikTok videos in which users wear various household items as shoes to the intro of pop star Iggy Azalea's song "Work" which feature the lyrics "Walk a mile in these Louboutins."

Origin

On March 13th, 2013, Iggy Izalea released her music video for the song "Work" (shown below). The video has gained over 323.7 million views in six years. In June 2019, TikTok users began using the song during video in which they wear strange items on their feet. One of the earliest videos was posted on June 26th by @azizaasgar in which she tapes poles to the soles of her feat (shown below, right). The video gained over 263,800 likes in two weeks.

On July 5th, 2019, @MattAllor uploaded a video in which he attaches rolling trash cans to his feet (shown below, left). The video gained over 607,000 likes and 28,700 shares in four days. On July 7th, @audreymhill uploaded a video using oven mitts as shoes while @luke_thornbrue attached q-tips to his feet (shown below, right). The videos garnered over 703,700 likes and 231,600 likes respectively in two days.
