Yiayia is a photoshop exploitable meme in the likes of Sad Keanu or Approval Guy, in which the photo of a "yiayia" (Greek for grandma) is superimposed in photos of situations where a typical traditional grandma would disapprove, such as couples living together before marriage or Charlie Sheen

Origin

The image of the "yiayia" was cropped from the advertisements of the Athenos branded greek yoghurt and hummus.

The term "yiayia" has seen an uprise in search in the beginnings of March (around the time the Athenos ads were uploaded to YouTube) and again in mid March (where the exploitables began to surge)
