Contrary To A Very Short-lived Hoax, Beto O'Rourke Will Not Be Posting Nudes If Texas Goes Blue
A surprisingly large amount of people will be disappointed to learn that former congressman and Presidential candidate Beto O'Rourke will not be posting nudes if Texas goes blue this Election Day.
The idea that Beto was promising (or threatening) nudes was spread by TV writer Ira Madison, who appeared to have had the brilliant idea of nuking his Twitter account, which had over 220,000 followers, prior to election day by impersonating a public figure and going out in a blaze of glory. That's one way to stop yourself from doom scrolling.
The hoax was short-lived, as Twitter quickly deleted the posts and suspended Madison's account, yet a surprising amount of people on Twitter took the bait.
BETO O'ROURKE SAID HES DROPPING NUDES IF TEXAS VOTES DEMOCRAT MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a friend who said Beto was the Dem primary candidate who would be most fun to go skateboarding with, and Beto offering to drop his nudes if Texas goes blue is proof positive that he was right. God bless.

Don’t know what happened to #Beto O’Rourke but I think they suspended his account due to the “drop nudes” comment 🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐#BetoSuspended ❓❓❓❓ pic.twitter.com/NnbYsmITO4

Snopes had to jump in and write, "No, Beto O’Rourke Didn’t Promise To ‘Drop My Nudes’ If Texas Goes Blue."
In the aftermath of Madison's Grande prank, Twitter users applauded the gumption with which he chose to go out.
A blue check was righteously sacrificed for this. Thank u @ira pic.twitter.com/ft5cdRkQCy

Ira got suspended from Twitter the night before the election. I…don’t know a smarter person.

God Bless @ira for taking the L and getting banned for the dumb serotonin boost I got from this tweet. pic.twitter.com/iZVYGhimYj

I think this was @ira's plan to make sure he didn't get sucked into scrolling all day

Godspeed Ira Madison, and have fun off Twitter.
