Twitch streamer DeanoBeano is going viral right now after sniping a player in Call of Duty: Warzone while using a modified recorder as a controller.

The now-viral video was first clipped from a stream two days ago and has since gone viral on Twitter after Deano posted it, garnering over 270,000 likes and 40,000 retweets in just two days. It's been reposted numerous times since, including by @elliottgray (who gained it another 230,000 likes) and the CoD fan page @CharlieIntel.

Deano is known for streaming with unconventional musical instrument controllers. He often streams COD with a Guitar Hero controller or Rock Band drumset and has been using the recorder since as early as last year.

Videos of him using the recorder have gone viral before. In November last year, he gave some insight into how the controller works in a tweet, explaining how the pitch of the recorder is converted to MIDI, which is then converted into keyboard commands, meaning the different notes of the recorder perform different actions.

Gamers across the internet are reacting to the video with shock, and anyone who knows how difficult it can be to get a good headshot with a regular controller let alone a recorder understands what makes it such an insane clip.

Some people are chalking it up to luck, while others are celebrating the patience Deano must have to line up the shot with the instrument. Whatever the case, Deano's snipe is on its way to being one of the most popular gaming clips of the year with over 13 million views on the original Twitter upload alone since Monday.
