Former President Donald Trump has announced a new partnership with singer Lee Greenwood to sell the "God Bless The USA" Bible for $59.99, and the news is quickly generating discourse online today.

The Bible Trump is selling uses the King James Version text and includes a copy of the U.S. Constitution alongside the lyrics of Lee Greenwood's 1984 hit "God Bless the USA."

The official website of the Bible assures visitors that is "the only Bible endorsed by President Trump" and includes a gallery of photos showing Greenwood posing with other conservative celebrities holding the book.

Many of Trump's fans appeared to look forward to the release of the new Bible, posting images (some of them AI-generated) of Donald Trump and Jesus Christ. It is currently Holy Week, traditionally one of the most sacred and reflective times of the year for Christians.

Opponents of the former President took to social media to call his passion for the Bible a scam, comparing it to his recent effort to sell Trump sneakers.

Many also referenced a viral video in which Trump is asked about his favorite Bible verses and seems to avoid the question, saying it is "too personal" and then pivoting to talk about his own book, The Art of the Deal.

Trump is actively running a presidential campaign in addition to paying massive legal fees that've made him the spotlight of many memes this week.

Although the $454 million bond he was ordered to pay by a New York court has been reduced to $175 million, and the IPO of Truth Social promises to bring Trump more liquid cash, he remains a man with a lot of expenses to pay.

However, with the Truth Social IPO, Trump's prayers may have been answered. His stake in the company, after a great first day for the stock according to experts, is now valued at $5.4 billion on paper.
