It's not exactly a secret that Harrison Ford has little patience for Star Wars questions. It's become something of a no-go area for the actor, especially since he jumped back into the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon for Disney's sequel trilogy in 2015. But that hasn't stopped some from trying to get his thoughts on the series.

While on the press tour for the upcoming adventure film The Call of the Wild, a brave journalist from USA Today dared to ask Harrison Ford about his least favorite subject: Star Wars mythology. And, in classic Harrison Ford fashion, the actor batted the question away like a T-16 against so many womp rats.

Referring to Ford's surprise cameo as Han Solo in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, USA Today asked if his character, who was killed in a previous Star Wars film, appeared as a "Force Ghost." Ford's answer:

A Force ghost? I don’t know what a Force ghost is. Don’t tell anyone. I’m not talking loud enough for your recorder. I have no fucking idea what a Force ghost is. And I don’t care!

Chef's kiss. What a hero.

The interview started amiably enough, with Ford divulging that he mostly came back to the series because Skywalker-director J.J. Abrams told him it was "going to be great." Ford's iconic character Han Solo died in the Abrams-directed Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

"When JJ asked me to do it, I said, 'Are you kidding? I’m dead!'" said Ford. "He said, 'Sorta dead. You can do this.' He hadn’t written anything at that time. But he said, 'This is going to be great.' So I said okay. If JJ asked you do something, you’d probably do it too. He’s a very persuasive guy."

Tweets about Ford's dismissal of the "Force Ghost" fan theory have already gone viral. But Ford has a right to be upset by the question because he's not a "Force Ghost." Reason number one being: He's not blue. In the scene, Kylo Ren is speaking with his subconscious, which manifests itself visually as his father, whom he feels guilty about murdering. Pay attention in lit 101, Star Wars fans.

This is hardly the first time that Ford has dismissed Star Wars-related questions. Around the release of The Force Awakens, Collider foolishly asked Ford about the Han Shot First controversy. Ford shot back with his three favorite words: "I don't care."

Ford's infamous curt responses to fans have also become a running bit with late-night talk show host Conan O'Brien. Most famously, Ford destroyed associate producer Jordan Schlansky's little Star Wars toy, after dodging a dumb question about lightsabers.

Never change, Harrison. Never change.
