One viral instance of a woman appearing to experience a break from reality, as was the case when a woman on a plane freaked out claiming a passenger on her flight was "not real," could easily be written off as a bizarre circumstance but nothing to get worried about. Two in two weeks, though, may suggest a trend.

At least, that's the line of thinking surrounding another bizarre viral video in which a U.K. woman walking down a sidewalk appears literally frozen in time for several seconds before resuming her walk.

The clip was caught by a TikToker named "@unknown1575489" and features a woman frozen midstride. The caption claims the woman was like this for "a minute" prior as the spectator exclaims "WTF."

Many commenters expressed how the video proved we're "living in a simulation" or that it shows a glitch in the matrix, and it's easy to see why.

It doesn't appear as though the woman merely stood still for a few seconds, as her hair seems frozen mid-bounce before she resumes walking. A car also passes by her while she's frozen, suggesting that if the clip was edited in order to make the woman look frozen, the creators certainly went above and beyond to achieve the effect.

Though the TikTok racked up 5.5 million views in five days, the numerous mysteries surrounding it may suggest that the "frozen woman" is not a genuine example of reality breaking.

For starters, there are virtually no avenues available for viewers to pursue in order to glean a rational explanation for the video. "@unknown1575489" has also not posted any other videos to TikTok, nor responded to any confused commenters, which is unusual — people who happen into viral fame are usually happy to post follow-up TikToks to provide more context and perhaps milk their success.

Furthermore, the speaker's face is never shown in the video, so it's also plausible the audio was dubbed later.

The only other potential clue in the video itself is that the reality television show The Bachelorette is tagged for an unknown reason, as the video obviously has nothing to do with the show, currently in the middle of its 20th season. If it's potentially ARG-style marketing for The Bachelorette, it's unclear how it ties into the series.

Of course, this is only speculation, as again, there is no way to confirm anything about the video.
