A small house fly stole the show at last night's "Vice Presidential debate" at the Univeristy of Utah in Salt Lake City, UT. This should tell you everything you need to know about the debate.

Compared to last week's barnburner, the debate between Senator Kamala Harris and Vice President Mike Pence was a quiet affair. In the most popular moment from the night, a fly landed on Vice President's head, and it was so calm that a fly could not be roused away from the Vice President's hair.

The fly stayed on Mike Pence's hair for about two minutes, giving people more than enough time to meme the heck out of it.

Even Vice President Joe Biden and Republican Senator Rand Paul got in on the fun.

People online found a great rebuttal to the fly: Kamala Harris reactions, which were out in full force last night. Smirking, squinting and pursing her lips, Harris' facial contortions were the co-star of the events. What can you say, people found her responses to Pence relatable.

It must've gotten to Pence, whose one bloodshot eye that kept watched over the proceedings. While many thought that Pence brought pink eye to the party as his plus one, Daniel Volland, a Seattle optimitrist, told BuzzFeed that he he probably broke a blood vessel. Still, it's never a bad time to wash your hands!
