Still miss the old Kanye? Kanye West, the beleaguered rap mogul/self-proclaimed "greatest human artist of all time"/questionable shoe designer posted a very normal video of someone going number one on a Grammy award. The video comes after days of his public attempts to get out of his record contract and regain control of his music.
"Trust me … I WONT STOP," tweets West, like he's any competition with notorious long urinator Austin Powers.

Over the past few days, West started a very public war with his record company, Universal Music Group, in a bid to get released from the contract. In addition to his wet posting, he tweeted pages from his record deal and text messages with an anonymous advisor. In his tweets, West alleges that he does not own the masters to his studio works and wishes to procure the rights for his children.
Here is a selection of the tweets:
I need to see everybody’s contracts at Universal and Sony
I’m not gonna watch my people be enslaved
I’m putting my life on the line for my people
The music industry and the NBA are modern day slave ships

This all seems normal by Kanye standards, but to say that this behavior isn't concerning fans would be an understatement. West, who has bipolar disorder, is no stranger to volatile outbursts online. Many fans, as they have done in the past, expressed concern for the troubled artist, saying that he's going through a manic episode.
kanye west just put his life in danger and is having a manic episode and y’all still are making shit abt larry and telling louis to “pull a kanye” you guys are so disgusting its not even funny anymore.

This wouldn't be the first time. This summer, Kim Kardashian-West, Kanye's wife and mother to his children, released a statement about his health.
"As many of you know, Kanye has bi-polar disorder. Anyone who has this or has a loved one in their life who does, knows how incredibly complicated and painful it is to understand," Kardashian wrote on Instagram Stories. "I've never spoken publicly about how this has affected us at home because I am very protective of our children and Kanye's right to privacy when it comes to his health. But today, I feel like I should comment on it because off the stigma and misconceptions about mental health."
