The trailer for the much anticipated MCU third Spider-Man film, titled No Way Home, was leaked on social media yesterday. Unlike previous leaks for big properties, this one wasn't shown in the traditional way, but the leak itself is shown as being recorded on a phone, recording another phone, that has recorded a computer screen that had the trailer playing on it.

Though the quality, after being seen through multiple screens, is less than optimal, many theories relating to the movie were confirmed, leading to a lot of buzz on social media.

Some of the fan-favorite confirmed theories was that Doctor Strange would be putting Tom Holland into a shared multiverse type scenario, something similar in spirit to One More Day, a Spider-Man storyline that was very controversial among the comic book fans.

Because of the leak, and how carefully Sony had been guarding it, there were many memes made about Sony and Kevin Feige trying to find out who the leak came from, as leaks like this can potentially do more harm than good by being released in their unready state, though others allege that they can be done deliberately to spurn hype for an upcoming release.
