TikTok Star JinnKid Charged With Double Murder Of His Wife And Her Friend
Ali Nassar Abulaban, known by the handle "JinnKid" to nearly one million people on TikTok, has been arrested on the charge of killing his wife Ana and her friend Rayburn Barron in California.
According to NBC San Diego, Abulaban suspected his wife and Barron were having an affair. He is accused of stalking his wife since October 18th, going so far as to install an app on his daughter's iPad that would monitor her activity. On October 21st, after hearing his wife with Barron, Abulaban allegedly drove to their apartment, shot Barron three times and Ana once. Police suspect that Abulaban called the police to report the murders. He was arraigned on Monday.
Deputy District Attorney Taran Brast says Abulaban confessed to the murders to his wife and the police. There is also a video of him leaving the scene of the crime after the killings. Despite this, Abulaban has pled "not guilty" to the charges. If he is convicted, he could receive life in prison.
Despite the charges, Abulaban's TikTok is still active. His most recent video, posted just before the alleged time of the killing, shows him doing a Tony Montana impression.
