Leaked Audio Of Tom Cruise Exploding On His 'Mission: Impossible' Crew Goes Viral

Everyone has their limits, even Hollywood daredevil Tom Cruise, whose death wish-style of filmmaking carried him through the last 20 years of ups and downs. However, while climbing the Burj Khalifa and skydiving from the edge of space might appear dangerous, there's nothing worse than breaking coronavirus protocols.
Captured on recorded audio, which made its way to the Sun tabloid, Cruise hollered at crewmembers for standing within 6 and a half feet of each other on the set of the upcoming Mission: Impossible sequel.
"If I see you do it again, you’re f*cking gone," screamed Cruise. "And if anyone in this crew does it, that’s it--and you too and you too. And you, don’t you ever f*cking do it again."
The Sun states that Cruise, who sees himself responsible for "thousands of jobs" in Hollywood by continuing production of the two upcoming Mission: Impossible movies, caught two crewmembers standing near each other at a computer. Obviously, at any other time in human history, this probably would not have elicited such a reaction. However, the coronavirus death toll continues to climb, reaching more than 300,000 total deaths in the U.S. yesterday.
"They're back there in Hollywood making movies right now because of us. Because they believe in us and what we're doing. I'm on the phone with every f*cking studio at night, insurance companies, producers, and they're looking at us and using us to make their movies. We are creating thousands of jobs, you mother f*ckers! I don't ever want to see it again. Ever!"
Cruise's reaction must've come as a shock to everyone, including the crew members. After all, who knew Tom Cruise, the infamously apolitical Scientologist who in 2005 went on a media tour jumping on couches and criticizing the use of psychiatric medicine, took the coronavirus this seriously? His fears are well-warranted. Mission: Impossible 7 already faced COVID-related delays when several cast and crew members tested positive for the virus earlier this year.
A source for the Sun said:
Tom has taken it upon himself, along with the health and safety department, to try to force the safety precautions, with a view to keeping the film running.
He does daily rounds to make sure that everything is set up appropriately, that people are behaving and working as safely as they can. He is very proactive when it comes to safety.
Protocol on set calls for strict accountability, which Cruise, apparently, takes personally. The source continues to mention that it's unclear of whether or not the actor saw these crew members breaking the rules or "whether this was the straw that broke the camel’s back."
"People make mistakes and they slip up, but Tom is just on it."
Tom Cruise is watching. He's always watching.
