World of warcraft Dragonflight expansion promo depicting the new playable race.

Fans of the MMO World of Warcraft were treated to a livestream yesterday that revealed the ninth expansion to the retail version of the video game, as well as discussions about the upcoming Wrath of the Lich King expansion to the WoW Classic portion of the game. The livestream opened up with a developer table and some talk about the game before diving into the opening cinematic, which showcased the Dragon Isles zone and revealed that the newest expansion would be called Dragonflight after the name used by the magical dragons that inhabit the world of Azeroth.

Reactions to the new trailer and the stream itself spread fast across social media, as a dragon-themed expansion has been rumored to be in the works for years.

With a new WoW expansion also comes new additions to the game, and this time around, not only is a new race being added (called the Dracthyr), but they are also going to be a new class called Evoker. The new race and class, combined with the various customization options that were presented onscreen at the time, made for an exciting reveal as people immediately took to the web to express their views and memes on the new way to play.

Last but not least when it comes to reveals was that ducks were finally introduced into the world, as they were notably missing from the past 16 years of gameplay. This was not lost on the community, which quickly took notice of the newly sighted ducks and made posts about them.

Who cares? Are we supposed to just forget that Blizzard is an abusive company run by sexual predators who are responsible for multiple suicides at their company? Because I literally don't care about anything going on at Blizzard except the corruption, sexism, and lawsuits.

And I don't want to hear that "well we can still support the developers since they aren't the ones doing it" garbage, we all know those aren't the people seeing the profits.
