Sigh, really? This old controversy? Might as well dig up Twilicorn for the umpteenth time while we're at it.

Well… the reason was because of the negative reaction. They caved in, it's as simple as that. Even her current name as Muffins seems like they're just trying to have their cake and eat it too. (Admittedly, I'm still on the fence about it, mostly because it has little to do with her actual in-show character.)

And yeah, the library was also a dumb move, but for far different reasons. Then again, most of their attempts to put toys into the show aren't all that great to begin with…
