Supper Mario Broth @MarioBrothBlog In Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS, Mario normally always reverts to his small form upon death. However, an unused death sprite for Fire Mario exists, depicting him as a squished Koopa. If Fire Mario could die, that is what he would look like. Small Mario's regular sprite in the Super Mario World game style of Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS Fire Mario's regular sprite in that style. Small Mario's "dead" sprite. Note that this is used for all forms of Mario, as he always reverts to Small Mario upon death. Fire Mario's "dead" sprite, bizarrely depicting a dead shell-less Koopa Troopa instead. It is not possible to ever see this since, as stated above, he always reverts to Small Mario upon death. However, if Fire Mario could die without changing forms, he would look like this. However, internally, even these accounts had Miis assigned to them. Here is Bowser's official Mii, extracted from the game's files. His name is Ethan. Bowser's Puzzle Dungeon Bowser In Super Mario Maker, an "Official Creators" tab in the Makers menu existed that featured special courses made by Nintendo. While regular user accounts had Miis attached to them for identification, these accounts replaced the Miis with official artwork. One of the accounts was representing Bowser himself. However, in the game's files, even these special accounts still had Miis attached to them, which were merely overwritten by the artwork, so the players would not see them.
